Tom of holland, hexa hap, around the web

This week we have been rummaging through the web, looking into our favourites blogs for some fun articles about knitting, crochet and all those things we love. Here is the list of best stuff we found, topics include linen, haps, baby wear and crazy crochet hats. Have a look through and don’t hesitate to give us your opinion in the comments.

Until next time… Happy knitting!

Kate Davies is about to release her new book The Book of Haps and good news is it will be available really soon at YAK. To give you a taste of all the wonderful patterns featured in this book, come and check out her blog. We especially love the Hexa Hap by the Brighton based designer Tom of Holland.

Here some inspiration for baby and children wear.

Recently we have been praising linen and advised you to use it in your summer knitting. Knitting with linen might seem tricky as it does not share the same material properties than wool. To help you to get your head around it, follow those 6 great tips by Andi Satterlund.

By combining a Star Wars chart designed by F.P Molina and the Greyson pattern by Julia Stanfield, Feeieio created this amazing Darth Vader pullover for her little boy.

Another lovely pattern by Renee Callahan.

And last but not least, some incredible crochet hats by the artist Chili Philly.
