Back to School – Autumn Term Classes

It’s almost time to go back to school! Have you always wanted to learn how to knit but did not know where to start? Perhaps you already have some basic knitting skills but would like to improve them further? Or maybe you have been knitting for years but would like to learn some specific techniques?

If any of those categories sound like you, you will be pleased to know that we’ve now uploaded our class timetable for the coming term.

On the program you will find our usual classes for complete beginners; Learn to Knit and Next Steps in Knitting, alongside our improver classes where you can keep building your skills by learning to knit in the round, knit your first pair of socks, or take your first steps into stranded knitting, plus many more!
We also have two brand new classes this term, Shawl Knitting and a taught Jumper-a-Long.  In Shawl Knitting you will pick from one of four shawl patterns and will learn all the techniques required to create your first lace shawl.
The Jumper-a-Long is as it sounds, a great opportunity to knit a jumper that will last you a lifetime with an expert jumper knitter guiding you through the whole process. Over a period of 10 weeks, during 5 tutored sessions of 2 hours, Suzanne will help you with everything from picking out the perfect pattern based on your skill level, choosing the perfect yarn for the job and all the techniques which come up along the way.

Of course the Knit Surgery will be also be open for drop ins one Saturday a month to help you keep your knitting’s health in check. Come along with dropped stitches, wonky decreases or any other small ailment and our resident doctor will help you put things right.

Further information for all our classes are available on our website, but if you have any more questions do not hesitate to give us a call or contact us by email. Class can be booked online, over the phone or in the shop.

Until Next Time… Happy Knitting!
