Book Review: Tin Can Knits – Mad Colour

Last week we’ve received a shed load of books to be added to our existing selection of knitting and crochet publications. These cover a wide range of topics and techniques, and knitters of all levels should find something suitable to their own experience.   At the moment most of these books are solely available in store but many of them will be added to our website very shortly.

In our latest acquisitions you’ll find Mad Colour by Alexa Ludeman and Emily Wessel from Tin Can Knits. Through its collection of 16 simple patterns, this book is an invitation to play with colours while practising traditional technique such as Fair-Isle, stripes, slip stitch or Intarsia. Each pattern comes with useful tips on how to sucessfully mix colour together, as well as suggestion on what type of fibres would suit your project best.

Overall it is a great reading for anyone who want to know how to create beautiful colourway while making knitted garments truly personal and unique.

Maybe some of you already started making patterns from this book? If so please feel free to share your project on our Ravelry group!

Until Next Time… Happy Knitting!
