The Fibre Co. – Lore

£15.60

Lore is a beautiful woollen spun DK yarn made from 100% romney lambswool. Romney is an ancient British breed of sheep originally bread in the Kent marshlands where the Fibre Co sources most of their fleece today. We just love the subtle heathered palette which is created by the fleece being dyed prior to spinning which allows for multiple colours to be blended together.

Knitted or crocheted up Lore produces a light and lofty fabric which works nicely with a wide variety of projects including fair-isle and cables. It also softens beautifully after washing while still retaining a lovely traditional feel.
