Dovestone Smallholding – Ella Austin

Ella Austin worked with Baa Ram Ewe Dovestone DK to design a collection 9 knitted toy patterns. Inspired of peaceful countryside views, eating home grown food and enjoying the company of farm animals. 

Knitted in Dovestone DK, a blend of Bluefaced Leicester, Masham and Wensleydale Fleece. The yarn is soft yet robust, with a gentle wooliness, perfect for adding a warm and rustic feel to the toys. The designs are knit in the round with minimal finishing, making it easier and more enjoyable to bring these characters to life.
