Yarn + Stitch celebrates difference on every single one of its 72 pages, with 7 inclusive and contemporary patterns: 4 knitting, 2 crochet and 1 tapestry. Experience beautiful yarns, exclusive articles and Midland maker spotlights, as well as a comic strip featuring Yarningham Festival’s mascots – Boris & Donald the alpacas (designed by Ruth Green).

Sara Fowles, Helen Winnicott, Venetia Headam and Lilith Winnicott are the team behind Yarningham Festival. Yarningham is an annual yarn festival bringing the best new independent dyers and producers to Birmingham, and as the only Black led yarn festival in the UK they are unique, championing equality and diversity in everything they do.

Co-founder of Yarningham Sara Fowles explains: “With Yarn + Stitch magazine, we want to celebrate the friendships and connections we make at yarn events – something that we have all missed in recent months”.
