A old project from last year I made for a friend’s birthday. These lovely socks are from the Autumn 2014 Issue of Pom Pom Quarterly. They look a lot more complicated than they really are (my favourite type of knitting!), using three colours you use a slip stitch to create the staggered stripes. I used some odds and ends of past projects including Malabrigo Sock, I Knit or Dye sock and a mystery Opal sock yarn. I really like how the variagated yarn changes colour out of sync with each other.
The heel is a German short row heel which I’d never done before. It was very easy and neat. I hope my friend will get a lot of wear out of them!
