We’ve rounded up some of our favourite pattern releases from December and there have been some absolute crackers this month.  Perfect for some cosy Christmas knitting with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie (or three).

1. Eastwind by Emily Foden from Knits About Winter.
There is so much to love about this warm winter jacket by Emily Foden. There’s the cable detail running down the front, the use of mohair held double with DK for warmth and that beautiful fluffy halo and of course the toggles. Knit using Onion held double with Lore.
