As Light As A Snowflake
An extra fluffy and extra squishy aran made of 55% alpaca, 35% cotton and 10% wool.
Snefnug is what we called a blown yarn. Its core is made of a cotton chainette through which is ‘blown’ fibres of baby alpaca and merino wool. The result is a very strong yet very light yarn which knits up in a beautifully soft and airy fabric. A great option for oversized chunky knits.
Snefnug works well at a variety of gauges. Try a loose gauge to create something airy and light or tighter for the ultra-fluff factor
CaMaRose carefully selects producers who show ethical and sustainable manufacturing practices. These also encompass animal welfare.
Snefnug is spun in a family-owned mill in Italy.
