Please note, we no longer stock Cyrano
Only few weeks after releasing their lovely powdery pink Quartz, De Rerum Natura has added 6 more colours to the Ulysse, Gilliat and Cyrano ranges. Four shades of blue (Ciel, Lagon, Plume, Nuit), one charcoal (Fusain) and one dark olive green (Foret). Needless to say, all are absolutely stunning, as usual. As soon as we opened the parcels and got to see the new yarns, we were already looking for some patterns to try them out.
Those hues look great together and are definitely calling for some beautiful colour work. With its
simple two tones geometrical motifs, Eifelgold by Melanie Berg is the prefect pattern to create contrasted colour combination with any shades of the Ulysse range.
To knit with Gilliat we spotted this jumper pattern recently released by Heidi Kiirmaier. Inspired from fisherman’s style sweaters, Catch of the Day is knitted from top to bottom, textured and decorated with two braids with three crossing sections each.
If it’s a quicker/smaller project you’re after why not trying Fidra by Gudrun Johnston? Designed with eyelets and textured motifs, this hat only requires one ball of Cyrano to be completed.
Maybe you guys are already knitting/crocheting some beautiful things with Ulysse, Gilliat or Cyrano? If this is the case do not hesitate to share your project on our Ravelry group!
Until Next Time… Happy Knitting!
I wish the photographs had captions saying which colour was which …
