April is here and we have rounded up some of our favourite pattern releases from the month of March. Spring is so up and down when it comes to weather. It can be sunny t-shirt weather one week only to snow the next, so we’ve included a range of knitting and crochet patterns suitable for trans-seasonal dressing from ankle socks and cropped tees to a crocheted poncho. Enjoy!
We love these ankle socks perfect for warmer Spring days. We especially love the scalloped cuff detail. Knit using Malabrigo Sock.

An everyday beanie for crisp Spring walks or the chilly morning commute. We think it’s always good to have a project on the go that you don’t have to concentrate too much on for knit nights or on-the-go knitting and this hat is a perfect example of one such project. Knit using Hedgehog Skinny Singles or The Uncommon Thread Posh Fingering held double with Onion Silk + Kid Mohair.

3. Soldotna Crop by Caitlin Hunter
We love the stranded colour work on this cropped t-shirt style sweater. Perfect for Spring wardrobe layering and a super quick and gratifying make. Knit using Skein Queen Crush DK.

4. Tūmanako Pullover by Francoise Danoy
This cropped jumper is another good Spring layer. We love to cable panels at the front and back and along the sleeves. Knit using Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn DK which has a beautiful colour palette to chose from.

5. Roundabout by Dani Sunshine
How sweet is this playful striped jumper from Dani Sunshine. The stripes are endlessly customisable and De Rerum Natura’s Ulysse has so many colour options to play around with.

6. Hot Cocoa Poncho by Toni Lipsey
Spring is the perfect time for a Poncho and we love this one by Toni Lipsey. We love the stripes around the cowl collar and the textured stitch pattern created by using Tunisian crochet honeycomb stitch. Crochet using De Rerum Natura’s Gilliatt.
