Remember the pattern Puck from my September round up of patterns? I couldn’t resist casting it on. The sample was knitted in one of my favourite colour combinations so I just copied it straight up. The pattern is Puck by Dani Sunshine was a really nice quick knit. The chevrons mix it up a bit so you don’t get bored, I just wanted to keep going to get to the next repeat. The fit is quite slouchy and topped with a pom pom, just the way I like my hats.
The yarn is Bessie May Smile, a DK weight 100% merino wool. It is lovely soft bouncy yarn and was a perfect match for this project. It comes in some great colours, endless combinations if you wanted to knit one too. I think I’m all set for hats this winter now! What are you working on? Are you ready for winter yet?
