It’s been weeks – nay, months – we’ve been drooling over the latest project bag by the Fringe Supply Co.; the Porter Bin Project Bag. With all the beautiful photos posted by Karen Templer on social media, it’s been a real tease to wait until we received our last order from the Fringe Supply Co. to be finally able to see it for the first time. Needless to say it was worth the wait and we are really excited to provide our customers with this absolute beauty. Like the Field Bag, the Porter Bin is made of sturdy cotton canvas, it features multiple pockets to store knitting accessories, it sits perfectly upright, thanks to its triple-weight flat bottom, and like any items by the Fringe Supply Co., it is beautifully finished. Of course the Porter Bin has characteristics of its own too. It is big – 8” x 12” at the base and 9” tall – and so perfect to store several WIPs in just one bag. The leather strap has been replaced with a heavyweight wraparound handle, which is more adapted to the wider size of the Porter Bin and so makes it easier to carry it around.
Update on the Field Bags: Our last order was separated into two and unfortunately one box is still being held at customs. That box contains all of the coloured Field Bags (natural is now in stock). We will get them up online as soon as they arrive!
