Pattern round up - september

September went past in a flash and with it came some beautiful new patterns. Here are some of our favourite new releases from September.

Sode by Hiroko Payne from Laine Issue 6
Sink your teeth into those cables! A stunning cardigan pattern from the latest issue of Laine. We’ve picked out earthy shades of Gilliat for this one.

Esk Hause Mitts by Agata Mackiewicz
More beautiful cables. These fingerless mitts are the perfect project for a hank of Lore, the latest Romney yarn to arrive at YAK.

St. James by Francesca Hughes
This Breton watch cap inspired hat by Francesca Hughes is perfect for chilly seaside rambles. Knit using Lore for earthy Autumnal shades.Hat | yak
Ingalls by Caitlin Hunter

We love this over sized, colour work jumper with delicate lace eyelet details. We’ve got our eyes on Skein Queen or Hedgehog Fibres for this one.

Ikat Hat by Cassandra May
And last up, something for the little ones. We love this colour work beanie by Cassandra May and think contrasting hanks of Malabrigo Rios  would work perfectly for this fun ikat pattern.

  1. Not sure if this is the right place for this……do you have any self patterned rainbow coloured 4ply or dk sock wool please? I will visit the shop if you do.

    1. Hi Wendy, thanks for getting in touch and sorry for this delayed reply. The first one that springs to mind is Rum Paradise (822) from West Yorkshire Spinners: http://yarnandknitting.com/product/west-yorkshire-spinners-signature-4ply/

Our other self patterning sock yarns are; http://yarnandknitting.com/product/regia-pairfect-socks-by-arne-carlos/
and http://yarnandknitting.com/product/schoppel-wolle-zauberball-zauberball-crazy/ which both have some lovely bright colours too! Hope that helps!
