Jumper Along

Our first Jumper Along of 2017 just finished last Sunday, and we were so glad to see our students leaving with a big grin on their faces! They all did really well and are now proud owners of beautiful hand-knitted jumpers.

For some this workshop is a great way to tackle confidently their first jumper knowing that Suzanne isn’t far away to help them correct and understand their mistakes. For others it offers an opportunity to strengthen their skills while meeting new people. By having a tutor by their side, students are more likely to pick up patterns they didn’t feel confident enough to do by themsleves. 

Knitting can be a lonely activity sometimes so it is also really nice to meet up every two weeks with the same group of people, chatting away while watching your jumper growing. Group knitting is actually such a good way to share knowledge and ideas, many of our Jumper Along students are now Knight Night aficionados! 

Our next Jumper Along is already fully booked! For those who didn’t manage to sign up for that session, note that we won’t run any Jumper Along over the summer but there will be another one scheduled in the Autumn.
