Oil paint cowl amy van de laar

Our monthly pattern round ups seem to come around spookily fast and here we are again. We’ve rounded up our favourite new pattern releases for October.

1. Chroma: Knit in Colour by Jen Geigley Knits

Chroma is a collection of patterns inspired by pop art, cubism and abstract expressionism. We love the bright colours used, perfect for cheering up a dreary Autumn day. Knit using Crazy Sexy Wool for vivid colour contrasts.

2. Ushida Cardigan by Whitney Hayward in Making No. 6 / Black & White
Deep dive into some cables for this beautiful cardigan from Making No. 6. Studio Donegal will work wonderfully on those cables.

This cardigan with pockets cleverly integrated into the hem. It’s chunky, cosy and quick to make being crocheted with two strands of DK held double. Crochet using Lore.
