Not to be confused with Yarn Shop Day which was created by Lets Knit, Yarn Store Day is an international event created by the TNNA that aims to highlight the bricks and mortar wool shops around the world, the small businesses that empower their local community of knitters, crocheters and crafters through providing products, classes and events to keep customers inspired and educated. This year, to celebrate we have some very special things in store that you will not want to miss!

First up, Beehive Yarns are back! You may remember Beth from our Beehive Yarns Sock Kits last December, they were such a hit that when we decided to run a little pop up to celebrate Yarn Store Day, we just had to invite her back! For two weeks starting on Saturday 30th April for YSD we will we have two of her bases in store – the classic Audrey Sock and the luxurious Pattie Kidsilk Mohair Lace!

We will have 15 colours in each base, and 8 skeins of each colour available. These yarns will be with us for two weeks only – and we won’t be putting them online until Sunday 1st May so those who come to celebrate Yarn Store Day with us will have first pick!
